People have different opinions on it.‎ ‎ Many people are for the new measure because they think that iPads are light to carry and convenient to use. The students today are familiar with electronic products, which can help to arouse their interest in learning.‎ ‎ However, others argue that reading on the screen is harmful to students’ eyes in the long run. They may also lose their ability to write by pressing the keys instead of writing with pens.‎ In my view, students should always write with pens. Meanwhile, electronic products can be used in class to make learning more interesting.‎ ‎2.‎ Dear Ms. Smith,‎ I’m Li Hua ,Chair of the Student Union of Yucai Middle School ,which is close to your university. I’m writing to invite you to be a judge at your English speech contest to be held in our school on June 15. It will start at 2:00 pm and keep for about three hours .Ten students will deliver their speeches on the given topic “Man and the Nature”. We hope you will accept our invitation if it is convenient for you. Please call me at 44876655 if you have any questions.‎ I’m looking forward to your reply. ‎ With best wishes.‎ ‎ Li Hua ‎3.‎ I will go to college in the near future. After I enter college, I plan to set new goals in my study and improve my way of learning. What’s more, as I am away ‎ from my parents, it is necessary for me to learn to live on my own, such as doing some washing and cleaning by myself. In my spare time, I will take part in different kinds of school activities, for example, I will often go to the English Corner to practice my spoken English. In addition, I need to get along well with my classmates and teachers at college. I think I will have a wonderful college life. (102 words)‎ ‎4.‎ I'm Li Hua from Xinghua‎ ‎Middle School. Now I'd like to share my experience in practicing oral Enghsh.‎ Firstly, I'm always confident and brave. I seize every opportunity to speak, not afraid of makding mistakes which may embarrass me. I also find it of great benefit to take part in English corners, where I make many friends. By talking with them, my oral English has improved a lot. Finally, some English programs like CCTV-9 contribute to the prograss in my speaking ability. Through this channel, not only am I kept informed of the current events going on both at home and abroad, I also learn the standard pronunciation and intonation by repeated imitation.‎ Practice makes perfect, as the saying goes. Our hard work will finally be rewarded.‎ ‎5.‎ As is frequently seen in our daily life, the disadvantaged exist in every corner. They are a threat to the construction of a harmonious society, causing growing concern from all.‎ As the term is defined, those who lack abilities to make a living, like the disabled, the old, the poor etc, make up the disadvantaged. There is no difficulty analyzing the common problems they share. As they are disadvantaged, without doubt,‎ ‎ job hunting becomes a headache, which worsens their life or even makes it in despair. Naturally, poverty follows and they are sometimes bullied. Even if some can do certain jobs, as long as they belong to the disadvantaged, they are easily ignored.‎ ‎ Governments should certainly take the major responsibility for caring for those disadvantaged. Daily necessities like food and shelters should be provided for their recent survival as well as constructing hospitals and schools to ensure their future. We students should always have a kind heart towards them. What you do may seem little to yourself, but it surely makes a difference to the disadvantaged.‎ ‎6.‎ Recently, the TV program A Bite of China has attracted much attention. Its celebration of the diversity of delicious local food around China reminds me of the food in my hometown.‎ Many people complain that life changes too fast . But I believe that there is one thing that never escapes us, the taste for the food we grew up with. I grew up in a family of three generations under one roof. Living together with dozens of your relatives proved to be great fun. My grandma would tell us all those amazing ancient stories while making sticky rice cakes in the shape of lovely animals for us. My uncle, who works at a local restaurant featuring fish specialties, would bring back some of his best dishes back home to share with the family. I have traveled to other places in China, but never have I tasted better fish than my uncle’s.‎ In my opinion, A Bite of China is about more than merely food. The program tells people about the real China. As a nation of food lovers, we are drawn to the series by the impressive-looking food, but we are even more impressed by the human interests in it – the love of the food, of our hometowns and of our mother country. ‎
