Lead in ‎‎1a T: We all know English is spoken in many countries in the world. Now Jane’s father will go to Cuba on business. Is English spoken in Cuba? Will Jane’s father have any trouble? Let’s listen to the tape and mark the following sentences with (T) for True or (F) for False.‎ ‎(1) Jane’s father is going to Cuba for traveling. ( )‎ ‎(2) English is spoken as the official language in Cuba. ( )‎ ‎(3) Spanish is similar to English. ( )‎ ‎2. Read the dialog and find out the important and difficult points. Then check the answers.‎ Step 4 Consolidation ‎1. Ask the students to practise the dialog with the partner. After that, act it out in front of the class. ‎ ‎2. Change the following sentences into the simple present passive voice.
