Unit 4 Wildlife Protection Grammar 现在进行时的被动语态 一、结构 肯定式： 主语 + am/is /are ＋ being done 否定式： 主语＋ am/is/are ＋ not ＋ being ＋ done. 一般疑问式： Am/Is/Are ＋主语＋ being ＋ done? The matter is being discussed now. The matter isn't being discussed now. Is the matter being discussed now ？ 二、用法 1. 表示此刻正在进行的被动动作。 She is being examined by a doctor. 她正在接受医生的检查。 My sister is now being interviewed. 我妹妹正在面试。 2. 表示现阶段正在进行的被动作，但此动作在此时此刻不一定发生。 A new station is being built. 一个新的车站正在建设中。 Preparations are being made for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. 伦敦正在为 2012 年的奥运会做准备。 3. 表示反复进行的被动行为，常和 always, constantly ， frequently 等词连用 , 这种动词形式常用来表示赞扬或厌恶的感情色彩。 He is always being praised by the teacher. 他总是被老师表扬。 I feel very surprised that the window of our classroom is frequently being broken. 我感到很吃惊的是我们教室的窗户经常被打破。 4. 与部分情态动词连用，表示对正在发生的动作的推测。 He may be being scolded by his father at the very moment. 他此刻也许正被他父亲责骂。 三、易错之处 1. 因为被动语态的基本构成为 be done ， 因此，不少学生误将现在进行时的被动 语态结构“ am/is/are ＋ being done” 写成 “ am/is/are ＋ been ＋ done” ，造成被动语态 结构错误。 Don't touch the machine when it is been operated.(×) Don't touch the machine when it is being operated.(√) 机器运转时不要用手触摸。 2. 不可漏掉 being, 若漏掉，则成为一般现在时的被动语态或系表结构。 Look! The children are being taken care of by their aunt. 瞧！这些孩子正由他们的姑妈照看着。 Children are taken good care of at school. 孩子们在学校被照看得很好。 ( 指通常情况 ) 四、特别注意 1 ．现在进行时的被动语态可表示根据 计划或安排，主语将要承受谓语动词的 动作，仅限于 bring, take, send, hold, sing, play 等少数及物动词。 Folk song is being sung next. 下面将唱一首民歌。 2. 某些表示“状态、心理活动、存在” 等的动词，如 want ， need ， love 一般不 用现在进行时的被动语态，而常用一般 现在时的被动语态。 Wang Li, come here. You're being wanted on the phone.(×) Wang Li, come here. You're wanted on the phone.(√) 王丽，过来，有你的电话。 With the population increasing ， more land is needed. 随着人口的增长，需要更多的土地。 Bruce Li is still loved by many young people. 李小龙仍然受着很多青年人的喜爱。 3. “be ＋ under/in... ＋ n .” 可表示现在 进行时的被动意义，此时名词前一般不用冠词。如： ◆ The problem is under discussion at the meeting. ＝ The problem is being discussed at the meeting. 这个问题正在会议上讨论。 ◆ This lift is in use. ＝ This lift is being used. 这部电梯正在使用中。 被动语态有时和时态一起考查，既考查语态，又考查时态。要注意每个时态的标志词；如完成时的 so far ， recently ， yet 等，现在进行时的 now ， this time ，现在时的 sometimes 等。有时要注意句子中的时间暗示。 五、句型变换 现在进行时的被动语态与现在分词的 被动式 being done 均可表示此刻正在进 行的被动动作，因此它们之间可以进行 句型转换。如： Please tell me something about the meeting which is being held now. ＝ Please tell me something about the meeting being held now. (being held 作后置定语 ) 请告诉我此刻正在举行的会议的有关情况。 注意：非谓语动词的被动形式表达不同时态 的被动意义： (1)to be done 是不定式的被动，表示将来和 被动； (2)to have been done 是不定式完成式的被动， 表示完成和被动； (3)being done 是现在分词的被动，表示进行 和被动； (4)having been done 是现在分词完成式的被 动，表示完成和被动，不作定语和补足语； (5)done 是过去分词，表示完成和被动，作 定语、状语、补足语。 Hi, I’m Alice.
