It is a great honor for me to be here to say something about our activity, the topic of which is ＂I Love Chinese Classical Poetry＂.‎ The activity is aimed at motivating us students to learn Chinese actively as well as passing on Chinese traditional culture.‎ Why I love it is that it has a certain rhyme and is written in simple language, making it easy to learn and recite. Besides, it usually conveys true emotions towards family, friends or the country, which can make us acquire various emotional experiences. In my opinion, reading classical poems can improve our writing skills. As we know, it is a treasure of Chinese culture. Only after we learn more Chinese classical poems will it deepen our understanding of our culture.‎ I hope the activity will be a great success and everyone can learn much from it.‎ That’s all. The main reason is that I get a lot of positive energy from my English teacher, who promotes lifelong learning attitude. As a teacher, I’ll be motivated to keep updating what I have learned through lifelong learning so as to keep pace with young students, because they are ‎ always energetic and have new ideas. Besides, education plays an increasing important role in the development of society. Therefore, more qualified teachers are in great demand.
