The first news today is about the new hospital on Second Street. Workers have been building it for six months, and it finally opens tomorrow! Now you won’t have to go to the next town when you’re sick or have an emergency. It’s a large, beautiful building with all new beds and medical equipment. It’s also hiring doctors and nurses. In other news, the big bank on Main Street is closed for two weeks. A tree fell on it during the storm last weekend, and it’s being fixed. The smaller bank on Forest Road is open, however. So you can go to the Forest Road if you need a visit to the bank. The last news is about the new city program to clean up our neighborhoods.
