英语复习短文改错集锦 ‎ （一）‎ Welcome to our English Corner! This Corner set up two years ago. We gather there every Friday evening. Except the students from our school and other schools, many English lovers and some foreigner also join us. We not only talk about things we are interested in to practicing our oral English, but also exchanged experience in English study. In an addition, we can make much friends and have a good time here.‎ It is proved that our English Corner is very helpfully and is popular with students, teachers and parents. Though you want to improve your English and make our life more colorful, join us. ‎ ‎ 二 Last month, the Students' Union organize an English Speech Competition. At first I didn't show some interest and wasnt very much confident. Then my English teacher Mr Smith encouraged me to take part in the competition. Inspiring by him, I signed up for the competition and made fully preparations for it. Two weeks late, the time I had been looking forward to coming and I went on the stage. Glancing at my teacher's smiling face, I built up my confidence. Much to my delight, the result was announced and I was one of the winner. But my teacher's encouragement, I couldn't have won the prize. I feel happy with my English teacher or the wonderful experience of the English Speech Competition.‎ 三 We had some British exchange students in our school last week. Upon their arrive, we gave the British students a warm welcome, among them a boy named Tim was to stay with my family for the weekend. When school was over, we took the subway to home, where my parents have already prepared a rich family dinner for Tim. The next day, I acted as a guide, show Tim around the most famous scenic spots in Beijing, such as Great Wall and the Birds Nest. Wherever he went，he had some photo taken to help remember this unforgettably trip to China I think this activity has benefited me huge. It was a perfect chance for me to practicing my oral English and earn more about the UK. ‎ ‎(四)‎ During this summer holiday, my parent and I climbed Mount Huang. The weather was such ‎ fine that the three of us could enjoy the sunrise. At 4: 00 the next morming we were already on a top. While waited for the sunrise. we were all excited. First a bit of pale light appeared the east.‎ Suddenly, the sun came out, was looking like a large ball, but the sky became red.
