用的句型结构是-er and –er(或形容词,副词不规则比较级+and+形容词,副词不规则比较级);如果是多音节形容词、副词,就用more and more+原级。 (1)Our city is becoming nicer and nicer. (2)It’ s raining harder and harder. (3)Our school is becoming more and more beautiful. (4)He is becoming lazier and lazier. (5)More and more students are majoring in the science of business management. (1)The more you learn, the more you wish to learn. (2) The sooner you start, the sooner you will finish. (3) The more exciting it is, the happier they are. (4) The more I know him, the more I like him. (5) The more you read, the better you understand. (1) He was finding it increasingly difficult to make decisions. (2) There is an increasingly popular alternative. (3) Increasingly, their goals have become more radical. (4) It became increasingly expensive to hire casual workers. (5) Water is becoming an increasingly precious resource. (1)A man cannot have too my friends. (2)The bad habit cannot be got rid of too soon . (3)You cannot be too careful. (你越小心越好) (4)You cannot pay too much attention to you reading skill, as it is so important. (5)You can’t be too serious. You can’t be too careful in your work.=You can’t be careful enough in your work. 1.I think watching TV every evening is a waste of time — there are more_meaningful_(meaningful) things to do. 2.—Are you satisfied with the result of the exam? —Not at all.
