导学案 Unit 6‎ An old man tried to move the mountains. ‎ ‎(Writing)‎ ‎【学习目标】‎ ‎1.To learn to use how, what, who, why to write a story and be able to use as soon as, so... that, unless in the article. ‎ ‎2. To learn to express different opinions on the story.‎ ‎ (Anything is possible if you work hard; ‎ be brave to tell the truth and so on.)‎ ‎【学习过程】(45 mins) ‎ Step 1. Lead in ( 3 mins)‎ ‎1.Watch a video about the Emperor’s New Clothes and answer the question:‎ What other traditional or famous stories do you know?‎ ‎2. Know the studying aims in this class.‎ ‎ Step 2. Pre-writing (8 mins)‎ 1. Ask and answer ①How does this story begin?‎ ‎ ‎ ②Why did Yu Gong move the mountains?‎ ‎ ‎ ③Where would Yu Gong put all the earth and stone from the mountains?‎ ‎ ‎ ④What happened next?‎ ‎ ‎ ⑤Finally, what happened?‎ ‎ ‎ ⑥What can you learn from the story?‎ ‎ ‎ 2. Fill in the blanks ‎ Yu Gong Moves a Mountain ‎ Once upon a time, there was a very old man. There were two mountains near his house. They were so ‎ it took a long time to walk to the other side.‎ ‎ The old man told his family that they should all help him to move the mountains. They began to all the earth and stone the sea. One day, a man saw Yu Gong and his children when they were moving the mountains. He told Yu Gong he could never do it he was old and weak. the man finishing talking, Yu Gong said his family could continue to move the mountains ‎ ‎ he died. So Yu Gong and his family digging day after day and year after year.‎ ‎ Finally, a god was so by Yu Gong he sent two gods to take the mountains away. This story reminds us that you can never know what’s possible ‎ you try to make it happen.‎ 1. Appreciate the model article and learn the structure. And who are they?‎ ②What can you learn from the story?‎ ‎2. Look at the five pictures and then fill in the blanks to finish a story. ‎ Picture 1‎ This story is about an emperor who loved .‎ Picture 2‎ Two came to the city to make special clothes for the emperor.‎ Picture 3‎ The emperor had to them silk and gold, but they ‎ everything for themselves. They were trying to cheat the emperor.‎ Picture 4‎ When the emperor at himself, he only his under wear.‎ Picture 5‎ Nobody wanted to sound stupid. But suddenly , a young boy ‎ ‎ , “Look! So Yu Gong and his family kept on digging day after day and year after year.‎ ‎ Finally, a god was so moved by Yu Gong that he sent two gods to take the mountains away.
